so this problem has been around since 1.2 as far as i know, but when you connect to the bnc not all the channel modes are put through from the server to the client.

As far as i know this only happens on networks who use ~& as channel ranks for +ao and +q. (irc.seersirc.net and irc.chaosirc.net are the two networks i have this issue on)

Along with them modes it also doesnt show any of the standard ranks such as + % and @. This only happens for the client account the user is connecting to, it will show all ranks correctly for other users even if they are ~ or &. However when hopping/cycling or joining a channel it displays fine, its only when initially connecting.
