Haii everyone,
I have installed the sBNC on my new VPS Server.
Everything works, tickle.so was loaded successfull and when i logout and try to message my bouncer the messages doesnt save.

I connect again and i don't see an message like "You have new mesages" or when i typ /msg -sBNC read it gives the new line : End of LOG. Use '/msg -sBNC erase' to remove this log.

But if i don't have any logs...
Can someone help me please?
It's urgent for me...

What exactly do you want sBNC to do?

sBNC logs only notices and Messages to you, not highlights nor channel messages. There are Scripts for doing such things.

I know, but when i message my self with another bouncer it don't save the logs...
So i can't read hem later...

1.Are u disconnected from the other BNC while u send yourself the PM?

2. Is /sbnc read or /msg -sbnc read working or do get any errormessage?

It works but like i say.
When i typ /msg -sBNC read or /sbnc read it gves this :

End of LOG. Use '/msg -sBNC erase' to remove this log.

And i was diconnected from the bouncer.
I was connected to quakenet without bouncer and i message my self (the bouncer)
And i reconnect to my bouncer and nothing happend.

Please check if sBNC has write access to $PREFIX/users/ directory.

Also, which Version of sBNC are you using?

It was the write access.
Now he save and now can i read it.

Only i need to re-add all bouncers after reloading :o

But it works again.

Re-adding would be harder than just running a single command on your system.

Try to put yourself into how the Linux operating system works.

Next, try the command 'chmod -R 0751 ~/sbnc', or if that command doesn't work try 'chmod -R 0751 /home/USER/sbnc' where you replace USER with the exact username you use when you log in to the server.

That should fix the permissions.
